Hey Pops,
There are so many ways that you have impacted me, but perhaps the greatest way that you have impacted my life is through support and prayer. This year has been a big one for me. There has been lots of change and so many things that I never saw coming. As you know, I got married to Michelle and we chose to pursue a family this year. Yesterday, the 24th, we found out that we are pregnant! In all of this you have been nothing but supportive spiritually, emotionally, and economically. There were emotional moments I wanted to throw in the towel, and you reminded me what was at stake offering advice and ears ready to listen in a way that no one ever has. When it comes to being a husband, I have always come to you as I believe your an amazing model of what it means to be a husband, father, and leader. Now be coming to you about fatherhood! I want to thank you for your prayer and your willingness to always be there when I need you. I also want to thank you for al the ways you have discipled me into a better man and son of our dad. Not only have you been there for the big things, but also the smaller ones like school, work, and wood working projects. I love you pops, and 2019 will be just as big as 2018 with the arrival of new babies, finishing school, and the continued development of my marriage. What I love about you is knowing I always have someone to lean on. I thank you dad for the man that you are. I cant wait to take on 2019, knowing that I have you as my father. Thank you for being a part of my story.
