Chris,

Happy Birthday!  I am so blessed to have a chance to write this letter to you.  I am lucky to have you as a friend, a person I love and believe in with all my heart and soul, and someone I put my own journey under as a father.

I pray you have a wonderful birthday.  I pray you have time to reflect on the life you have and the blessings you give to others with your purpose and ministry.  And I pray you are proud of the man you are leading a family and a community of men to a place they would not achieve without you.

Just today, I went and opened my video of my talk with Nathan in Montana, the ceremony we had, the week we shared with you and the other father’s and son’s, and I was overwhelmed with emotion.  Not just because of the profound impact that it had on us that week, but because starting that week, a relationship between he and I was formed that has only grown stronger.  Lasting love, lasting relationship, lasting commitment was started that week.  I don’t look back and remember that week as an event, it was a transformation that has continued every day since.  And that kind of lasting impact is life changing.  You do that, every day, for so many people.  And that is how a person is meant to Glorify God.

When David said in Psalms 86:12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever, he meant this.  What you do, for so many.

Thank you, Chris.  You are loved, and prayed for every day.  Enjoy your birthday, celebrate as you can, and be proud.

Happy Birthday!

Jude
