Chris

Where do I start?

• 50 years old as far as all that you have lived and all that you have experienced and tested by God’s grace and mercy.
• 50 years young because you seemingly have so much more life to live and you have some a youthful adventuresome spirit, that can only be from the heart of a child.

For starters, you are the most intentional man that I know. I don’t say that lightly. I know lots of incredible men, and many are highly intentional, but not thinking anyone is like you.

Your investment as a father, husband and son ... and most certainly son of a great Heavenly Father is unquestionable and second to none.

One of the my theme passages of scripture and when I think about what I want men in my sphere of influence is Psalm 1. Suffice it to say that reeks of you, Chris. You are a tree firmly planted on the river bank. You bear your fruit in your season. You prosper in all you do in a way that mirrors success that honors God.

I could go on and on about why and what I respect about you. Words don’t suffice but sometimes brevity and speaking to the point is more powerful and poignant.

I have great love and affection for you, Chris. If I needed you at most any moment, with the right timing, knowing you have a full life, you’d be there.

When I shared my heart for vacation with my wife and a focus on Kara and her family, you were quick to reply and say so simply and eloquently.... ON IT!!

I didn’t hesitate one iota to believe it. That’s powerful and beautiful!

You walk closely and consistently with Jesus. You bless me, you stretch me and I’m eternally grateful for you and your quick willingness to avail yourself to me and invest accordingly!!

I love you, Chris!!
