Happy birthday, big bro!
I still find it hard to believe you are turning the big 5-0! I remember celebrating mom and dads 40th thinking they were ancient and now being past 40 it doesn’t seem so old.
You have certainly lived a very full life thus far. And God has blessed you in amazing ways. You have taken Hartco to a place it never had been in many years, still married to your high school sweetheart, raised 8 kids and you are now a grandfather to a sweet, beautiful boy.
What’s even more amazing is the blessings we have because of Him. In Ephesians Paul writes about God blessing us with every spiritual blessing and as saints, followers of Christ we have been given the most amazing gift through Gods Son.
God has given you a platform through NF and Hartco to teach and search the truth.
There is so much to know and learn from His word and we’ve only scratched the surface of the depths of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How wonderful to know He desires for us to know Him and He gives is the mind to do so!
I am thankful for the years we grew up together even though we are so far apart in age. I laugh now thinking about you tickling my pits and your filthy room (pizza boxes under the bed). Your discipline in wrestling and pole vaulting and love of Atari, karate movies, Ralph Macchio, farting “sweep the leg”, Phil Collins, Genesis, and most important I saw you reading your bible every morning. You had such strong convictions and stood by them with out wavering. You always encouraged me when I was afraid (especially when I was scared the dr. would see my underpants during surgery). Thank you for those encouraging times. I do remember them.
I pray as life continues to press on that you hold fast to Him and that with every passing year you celebrate a birthday that the continued celebration from death to life brings you great joy and celebration!
