Dear dad,
Well to start off, Happy Birthday! I’ll be honest from there I don’t know how to put into words how much you mean to me, but i’ll do my best! From the countless checkups on my heart, to the over the top generosity, to the inclusion in all things as your son... I am grateful! Graceful for who you are! Grateful for all you’ve done for me, and Grateful that you said yes to the call! God has done things I could never imagine through your life and it has impacted the life’s of many! Mine just being one of them but I think I can speak for everyone in saying thank you and that your birthday is a game changer for me!!
You were an earthly father when I didn’t have one, and you’ve directed me towards my Heavenly father when I wasn’t focused on Him! Your life is celebrated today but everyday!! Thank you for loving Aunt Ruthie well and all 8 of your kids! And now grandkids! It is an example worth following! Your courage in times of hardship and unknown territory is amazing to watch! The courage of Aragorn, the leadership of Maximus, the charisma of John Wayne, and the grace of the Bishop are all displayed in what you do!! Ultimately Jesus Christ is displayed in what you do!!
