Happy birthday Chris!
I have loved getting to be more a part of the family these past few months. You have created something really beautiful, and getting to experience it more and more has been such a gift. You have created a family culture that people want to be a part of and brought up into. Your family builds each other up and is always on each other's team. You have a culture of love and grace and seeking understanding over being right. Generations of Hartensteins are going to reap abundant blessings from all the hard work you have put into your family over the years, and I am so beyond thankful I get to be a part of it.
You are a father. Not only to your own kids, but to everyone you come in contact with. You love people so well. You have been given wisdom and gifts from the Father and you want to share them with everyone around you. People are better because they know you and have a relationship with you.
You are a leader. You lead with excellence and you lead humbly, always seeking direction from the Lord. Your choice to be a leader and step out boldly into new things has made an impact throughout the Kingdom. You only know a fraction of the ways you have influenced and changed lives and families. One day, your Father is going to delight in telling you all the ways you have impacted his children’s stories.
Thank you for always being on Jared and I’s team. I can’t thank you enough for all your generosity and the ways you look out for us and set us up for success. Thank you for raising an amazing man and continuing to lead and offer wisdom and guidance.
